Sturgeon Bay Ice Fishing, Door County continues to produce limits!  The Whitefish bite has continued to be strong.  The weather patterns do affect the Whitefish when ice fishing but as long as you are out over deep water you will pretty much always catch them.  Yesterday produced limits for all of the groups, but the Whitefish were also all jumbo fish.  Ice fisherman today are also limiting out with nice sized Whitefish.  Jigs with minnows continue to work best for larger fish.  The wax worms work well but typically produce smaller Whitefish.  Now is a great time to come to Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay to come out on the ice.  We will continue to fish for the Whitefish through March but the Walleye bite will also continue to get better in March.

We are offering Walleye ice fishing trips out of sturgeon Bay in March which will allow only Walleye fishing.  Typically during January and February fisherman do the combination Whitefish Walleye trips but we are offering Walleye only in March as the bite heats up.  Give us a call to book your trip!
