Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay ice fishing weekend wrap up! Silver Strike Ice fishing guides had a great weekend on the ice! Many of the Whitefish fisherman caught limits of Whitefish with some of them getting their limits in half a day. We have been operating from Cabot’s Point and fishing out of Sturgeon Bay over 60-80 feet. The morning bite has definitely been the best! The Ice out on Green Bay is really good with over 8 inches in most places. Even with the warm temperatures coming to the Green Bay area, Sturgeon Bay and Door County is going to stay a few degrees cooler. The ice has set up across the whole bay and the warm front shouldn’t affect ice conditions. It will however be very pleasant for the ice fisherman. Walleye fishing has been slow with one here and there but you never know when a trophy Walleye will be on!
Throughout the ice fishing season we will try to post twice a week one being a week wrap up with pics from that weekend! Keep following us for Ice conditions, Fishing reports and other Door County events! Good Fishing to all the ice fisherman out there and we do still have some openings for the upcoming weekend!
